norah was 10 months this past sunday! she has begun to refuse baby food - all she wants is what her sisters are eating and she's also drinking out of a sippy cup! she cut her 2nd tooth (up top) and nope, still no crawling :) she says "dada" very well and cried out "mama" last week, but like the other girls she only uses that when absolutely neccessary! AND she is finally sleeping through the night (after some rough nights for mommy!). she remains to be the happiest baby :)

Mt. Laurel had a family neighborhood festival today and the girls and i had a wonderful time! we got to see some princesses - some not familiar and some VERY familiar :) and they had bouncy houses - the girls did it ALL - even Layla :)

at chuck-e-cheese! danny left for a long weekend yesterday morning so it's just us girls and we went to live it up tonight! they mainly stay on the rides the entire time. it ended up being me and my dad playing the games to win all the tickets for the "must-have" items you can "buy" at the end! the girls walked away w/ lovely glasses :)

follow-up

danny was asked to come to seattle next week for a face to face interview! but after a final phone conversation last night, we don't think it's going to be a good fit for our family right now. i think we are both a bit disappointed, but i'm sure something else will come his way :) for now, atleast, we are still alabama residents.

ella: "mommy, i love your princess dress. i wasn't there, was I?"

me: "no honey, you weren't with mommy and daddy yet."

ella: "well, next time you get married, can i be there?"

new fav foods - maccaroni and cheese and bagels! and she loves to find the girls sippy cups or capris-suns and attempt to drink them - she is becoming a bit more successful :) she was up last night w/ her first little cold - i think making it 9 months w/ a clean bill of health is pretty darn good!

princess and the frog

the interaction between these two sisters is quite interesting to watch. since i have no sisters, i'm always wondering if this is normal :) the easter bunny brought the girls The Princess and the Frog - so i hear them playing yesterday and ella is saying, "layla, you look like a frog so YOU are the frog and I am the princess!" and then ella is coming down the hall w/ her "servant" in tow :) layla plays along b/c she seems to think everything ella does/says is right, soooo i just leave it alone! i figure one day there will be an uprising and the servant will overthrow the princess :)

never a dull moment . .

wanted to let everyone know that danny had a phone interview last night w/ a firm out in Seattle! it went very well! they are conducting interviews this week and next and they will let danny know in the next few days if they want him to come out for a face to face! if all goes well, they would want him ASAP which means we'd probably be moving again within a month - but i'm getting ahead of myself :) just keep us in your prayers - that we go wherever God wants us to be - even if that means we just stay put!

grandma's cream puffs!

i attempted a first for Easter desert this past weekend - homemade cream puffs :) i have my grandma's recipe so i had to document for her how it went . . it your heart out grandma :)

i was a bit nervous before putting them in the oven! the form didn't look right to me - they came out a bit big in the end but oh well!

ella was my entertainment the whole time - she danced and sang for me! she didn't want to take the puffs to share for Easter - her grandpa has taught her well :)

i LOVE Target - for soo many reasons - but mostly for their carts! they are the one store (that i know of) that realizes not everyone only brings 1 kid to to the store and all 3 girls can ride in the cart w/o getting in the way of all the crap i buy there :)

finally!

norah woke up yesterday morning w/ her first tooth! hopefully more will follow - but not too quickly! :) i couldn't get a good pic, but it's her bottom front left and it's already cut all the way through!

we had a picnic lunch and then ran around the gardens for a bit this afternoon - very good day :)

And let me just say how much i LOVE having little girls :)







for the last 3 years our Easter lunch has been provided by Outback :) so it was great getting to spend the afternoon with family and enjoying a home cooked meal! here are the girls playing at nana and poppy's house. norah seems to be right on that cusp of crawling, but she just won't take the plunge yet! but it's OK - since she's my last little baby - she can do whatever she wants, whenever she wants :)
