our wounded princess!

on thursday night, ella pulled a dresser drawer on top of herself and cut open her leg. sounds kind of harmless - but that "cut" ended up getting 10 stitches!! We spent a few hours at children's hospital that night but she is doing great! she doesn't like the look of the stitches so after i clean it every day she likes to have it bandaged back up. this is the first time i've ever had to take either of the girls to the hospital - we've had a perfect record for 3 1/2 years :) now i'll be prepared for the next time we go!

8 weeks

Norah was 8 weeks old on Tuesday which means it's time to go to the doctor! We had our first meeting with our new pediatrician and all went very well! New doctors are always the worst part of moving but so far so good. My mom brought the older girls with us so they could meet Dr. Stacey as well. They liked her since she wasn't doing anything to them :) Now for her stats . . she is over 10 pounds now!! Yay for us!! She's exactly 10lbs 3oz putting her in the 45%. I never knew I could produce such a petite little person! She began wearing her 3 month sized onezies this week, but can still wear most of her newborn things! She is 23 inches, putting her in the 75% - as always, she's tall! She's smiling more and more and even has begun "talking" to us! Norah, by far, beats her older sisters in the sleeping department! On average, she is sleeping 5-6 hours at night, something I didn't know a 2 month old could do! Ella and Layla have begun fighting over who gets to hold their baby and feed her and bathe her :) which i guess is a good thing! all the brindisi babes love eachother for the moment :)

musical beds!

this is what our bed looks like by the time danny leaves for work :)

ATL

the girls and i traveled to the ATL yesterday to spend the day with kathy & ricky! it's such a wonderful feeling knowing i can travel a couple hours and see my best friend - i've gotten to see them twice in 2 weeks - that's more than i've gotten to see her in years!!!
i weighed norah and she came in at 10lbs (with her clothes on)! she is getting a few rolls on her legs - something i love seeing!! everywhere we go people comment how small she is, but i just smile and say, well you should've seen her when she was born because now i feel like she's so much bigger :)
